...In Memory of Hazel Hawke...

We’re saddened to hear about the passing of Hazel Hawke yesterday. We had the pleasure of hosting Sue Pieters-Hawke for the Snowy Mountains Readers Writers Festival, and learned much about Hazel’s wonderful productive life, from the talk Sue gave at one of the literary events. It was a lovely speech and highlighted Hazel’s selfless work in the pursuit of social health and education for the disadvantaged. Though a sufferer of Alzheimer’s, Hazel was also one of Australia’s most prominent spokesperson’s for the illness.

She will be missed and always remembered. Sending our thoughts and love to Sue and her family.

INFERNO IS HERE! 14.5.13

The world wide release of Inferno is happening tomorrow: 14.5.13!

It is the highly anticipated 4th novel in the Robert Langdon series by Dan Brown. Inferno delves into the horrid, torrid mystery of Dante's vision of hell, and Brown delivers all the mystery, symbolism and suspense we have come to expect from his writing. As to the plot, in true Dan Brown fashion, he has kept this a closely guarded secret, but promises that this will be his darkest novel yet...

We might just spontaneously combuste with anticipation!

For those unfamiliar with the poetic masterpiece of historical literature, The Divine Comedy was written in the 1300s, Inferno - dealing with the subject of hell and the devil, is the first part of three. Remember the saying "Abandon all hope, ye who enter here."?

Snowprint will have copies of Inferno available tomorrow to coincide with the world wide launch. Get in quick to secure yourself one of the very first editions! Definitely one for the collection. Then, once you have devoured the story, come back and let us know just how epic you thought it was!
